Describes process of using PCLinuxOS cloud services.

Introduction

PCLinuxOS Cloud is a community service provided for members of PCLinuxOS community by our own PCLinuxOS forum member YouCanToo.

Connecting and Using PCLinuxOS Cloud Services

STEP 1. Signup

You should have already signed up for all services at Service Signup. If not please do so now. You will be able to choose your username and password and an account will be created for you. You will receive an email confirmation that your accounts are being created.

STEP 2. Synaptic

You need basic understanding of how to install applications to Linux using a package manger. PCLinuxOS uses Synaptic. For more information please see; Synaptic and the Repositories. This details what Synaptic is and how to use it.

STEP 3. Install

In Synaptic search for nextcloud and install nextcloud-client. Whether you use the nextcloud-client or go to the PCLOS-Cloud website, you will be able to use the password you selected in step 1.
